Live Feed: WE MADE THIS MOVIE Debut from the Ed Sullivan Theater

Live broadcasting by Ustream

Hey! How would you like to get a first-hand, seat’s-eye view of the premiere of the new comedy, WE MADE THIS MOVIE, broadcast live from the Ed Sullivan Theater, home of THE LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN? Oh. Well, you can watch it anyway. I’m going to be testing UStream broadcasting from my phone, and this looks like a good way to see how things work (and also gauge how many people will look in on the event).

The presentation is supposed to start at 6:30 — Paul Shaffer and Michael Ian Black are supposed to be there, as is the producer/director of the film, Rob Burnett (hence the LATE SHOW connection). I’m not sure how the event is scheduled. Likely there will be some kind of introduction, which I’ll broadcast, then the film will be screened, which I won’t. That’s supposed to be followed up with a Q&A moderated by MIB. Presume that I’ll be live from 6:30 – 7:00 PM ET, and 8:30 – 9:00 PM ET, but you might want to check back periodically just in case.

Oh, and as our friends over at the Hugo Awards found out, UStream can be pissy when it comes to copyrighted material, so all this might be moot if there auto-guard-dogs start barking. What’s gonna happen? I dunno. Stay tuned!
